Acadia National Park, Maine
This was our first visit to Maine, actually this part of the US, previously only touching a corner of Vermont when returning from Canada in 2017. It is very true that life has a different vibe here than other states we have visited. I wonder if that is an Atlantic Northeast thing, analogous to the Pacific Northwest?
We started in Bass Harbor Campground, a private park outside Acadia, and then moved into the National Park campground, Blackwoods.
