Time to go!
What’s the point of having an RV if you’re not using it? This day was an absolute blur. It started at stupid-o-clock in the morning and involved taking Hobbes on his first flight, renting a mini-van, driving to a family reunion, picking up our new phones from Verizon, picking up the truck, picking up the Airstream, and then driving it to Sanctuary RV , where we had a reservation. Due to a mix up, we couldn’t actually get into the park but a helpful neighbor gave us the gate code. We picked a spot and parked. It turns out that it wasn’t even the right spot! We had our suitcases but the Airstream was otherwise bare. We had a shore power cord, only because it came with one. Thankfully North Trail RV had filled the water tank, otherwise we would really have been stuck. While the rest of the family went to get some takeout food (we had no dishes, pots or pans), I briefly lost the cat as he explored every nook and cranny of the interior! Exhausted, we ate and then crashed.
